John Cena Bray Wyatt Extreme Rules

John Cena may have left WrestleMania 30 with his legacy intact after defeating Bray Wyatt, but The Eater of Worlds is far from finished with his legendary foe. Wyatt will continue his devilish quest to unleash the monster that he believes resides inside Cena at Extreme Rules on May 4, when the two clash in a Steel Cage Match.

Wyatt has made it clear from the outset that he is determined to reveal Cena’s virtuous persona, and that his mantra of “Hustle, Loyalty, Respect” is nothing more than a façade hiding the nasty underbelly of the 14-time World Champion. In the midst of a chaotic battle that saw Cena take out both Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, Wyatt gave the Cenation leader a steel chair and begged Cena to bash him with it. Cena refused to give in to The New Face of Fear’s beckoning, conquering his fears and countering Sister Abigail into an Attitude Adjustment to claim victory.

Just days after his defeat at WrestleMania, an eerily happy Wyatt sent a message to Cena on SmackDown. The Eater of Worlds declared that he was willing to go to new extremes to bring out his foe’s ugly side. The Cenation leader embraced Wyatt’s eagerness to get hardcore on the April 14 edition of Raw, challenging his demonic rival to the steel cage showdown. While Wyatt seemed downright giddy at the prospect of being locked inside the cage with Cena, the 14-time World Champion was much more grim, warning The New Face of Fear that he should be very afraid once the cage door is locked.

Will Cena’s heroics be enough to triumph over The Eater of Worlds, or will Wyatt prove that he truly has the whole world in his hands and unleash the monster within the 14-time World Champion? Find out at Extreme Rules, live on WWE Network and pay-per-view on Sunday, May 4, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

John Cena Bray Wyatt Heel (BR)

This past Monday on Raw, WWE booked Wyatt as a self-aware cult leader who embraced his various followers in attendance, just as GoodOl' JR had feared.
One could argue that this is to be expected from a character with the goal of brainwashing a mass audience. But there’s one problem: Fans are not part of the act.

A marketable heel in any era has one goal, which is to elicit a natural disdain from paying customers. When Bray Wyatt says "follow the buzzards," that destination should be so dark and ominous he must be stopped before getting there.
If Bray Wyatt were a real person, there would be outcries for him to be committed. His presence would create unnerving tension. He'd be an outcast with only the bottom feeders of society to confide in. That—not live-arena karaoke—is what must be simulated.
Wyatt's only followers, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper, are on WWE's payroll.
Everyone else should hate his guts.

Cena Turning Heel?

Kudos to Daniel Bryan; turning John Cena heel
Having not been on the Internet much today, I wasn’t aware of the death of Daniel Bryan’s father until after watching WWE Monday Night Raw. #Daniel Bryan
#Undertaker
#Kane

#wwe
#wweraw
I have to say Bryan is a superb individual who cares about the fans.
Even as WWE world heavyweight champion, he didn’t have to show up on Raw.
But Bryan not only showed up, he opened the show with a very well-written segment with his new wife Brie Bella, WWE co-owner Stephanie McMahon and Kane.
Pretty obvious now why Kane delivered not one, not two, but three tombstone piledrivers on Bryan.
My condolences to Bryan as he will rightfully take some time off to grieve.
Then, we have the other half of The Bella Twins’ men, John Cena.
The reason I bring up a Cena heel turn again is because WWE seemed like it was teasing one by allowing the fans to vote for his match stipulation: vs. one Wyatt (38 percent), two Wyatts (9 percent) or all three Wyatts (53 percent).
Of course, the fans chose all three Wyatts.
Yes, you could say it’s because Cena’s fans wanted him to “get revenge” on Bray Wyatt.
But it seems like another reason for Cena to become “frustrated with the fans” when it’s time to explain his heel turn.
Remember the shock when Undertaker’s undefeated WrestleMania streak ended?
Imagine the shock if Cena finally turned heel.
Let’s review Raw.

As of February 2014, Cena has had 21 championships reigns, including a record 11 reigns asWWE Champion[10] and three reigns as World Heavyweight Champion. He is a 14-time World champion, and has the fourth-highest number of combined days as WWE Champion, behind Bob BacklundHulk Hogan and Bruno Sammartino. Extreme Rules 2013

Extreme Rules

  • Mrs. Foley's baby boy is in hot water for his comments on Facebook regarding Daniel Bryan's push around the time of the Royal Rumble. He went as far to say he thought the "powers that be" were "just not going to get it" and that it "made him sad", before eventually admitting after WrestleMania XXX he was wrong for not giving it a chance to play out but failing to add "because I missed the day in school where they taught us how to book underdog babyfaces".
  • It appears that the NEWZ story for a few weeks back regarding Rey Mysterio missing time over lingering knee issues was wrong, and it's actually an injured hand that's keeping him out of action. Mysterio also looks like he will sign a new contract, which may be smaller than his previous ones as he is no longer a top-flight merchandise seller anymore.
  • In a follow-up on our TNA Apocalypse Watch from Thursday, at the very least, although rumors that Eric Bischoff is still consulting with TNA because he's under contract are true, the company has reportedly had the decency to completely ignore whatever input he's given recently. While it's hard to imagine leaving such a genius on the sidelines while he's still collecting checks, we at the Rumor Round-Up have to assume that the creative staff had grown tired of Bischoff constantly asking if "anyone knew when Hulk was coming back."
If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Please remember, these are merely rumors. Try not to take them too seriously, just have fun with them.

Daniel Bryan Extreme Rules

Daniel Bryan will miss a significant period of time because of the passing of his father. But how long?
In other WWE news and rumors, Nancy Grace is ready to host another show aimed at professional wrestling, AJ Lee is scheduled to appear at upcoming WWE events, Nikki Bella comments on the passing of Daniel Bryan’s father and Jonathan Coachman relives his worst but most hilarious day in the WWE.

Daniel Bryan out until Extreme Rules

News from WWE headquarters is that Daniel Bryan won’t wrestle again until his match against Kane at the Extreme Rules PPV. Bryan will take the time off to settle family matters with the passing of his father on Monday. He could make a few appearances on Raw here or there, but he won’t see any in-ring action and will sell an injury after Kane’s brutal attack.
Bryan’s father was only in his mid-50s and his death was incredibly sudden. Nikki Bella, Bryan’s sister-in-law, tweeted the following about his dad on Monday night.
“I’m very sad & proud of my brother in law @WWEDanielBryan His Father was a kind, generous, sweet man and was so very humble. If you met him you knew the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. Bryan definitely has his energy. Tonight he stood there not only for all of you, but for the memory of his father. He will always be remember. RIP Bud”
Our condolences go out to Daniel and the entire Bryan family.

John Cena Song and Debut

The Rock Youtube

Bray Wyatt

fter ditching the dead-end Husky Harris gimmick, the company repackaged the third-generation superstar as an eerie cult leader, who dubbed himself the Eater of Worlds while flanked by his Family of equally dark disciples.
But it wasn’t just an effective persona that the WWE created. Bouts against Kane, Daniel Bryan and more recently John Cena have shown Wyatt to be a rather talented in-ring performer—despite his unspectacular physique. Far from being the technical archetype though, Wyatt’s strength lies in his use of psychology to really tell a story.
And in many ways, such drama is arguably more entertaining than an exhibition of wrestling proficiency.
Naturally, these credentials make Wyatt a perfect candidate for a monster heel. But could the WWE be planning to turn the Man of 1,000 Truths into the next big babyfaceWrestlingINC.com reports:
WWE isn't looking at turning Bray Wyatt babyface until The Shield makes their heel turn, that way both groups will continue to remain on opposite sides of the fence, with the exception of Roman Reigns, who will split off into a babyface role”

Saudi Arabia WWE Reaction (Link)

Saudi Arabia was treated to three days of wrestling mania last week with a WWE Live event that saw pro-wrestlers John Cena and Randy Orton take to the ring for the first time in the kingdom.

Enthusiasm ran high outside the Green Halls Stadium in Riyadh, where the event was held from Thursday to Saturday.

Tarek, a self-confessed John Cena fan, told Al Arabiya News Channel that he was excited at the chance to see his favorite superstars in Riyadh for the first time. “I feel fantastic,” Tarek said ahead of the first match.

The WWE has held 11 shows in the Middle East since February 2012 – six in Abu Dhabi, two in Doha and the recently-wrapped-up three in Riyadh.

Abu Dhabi-based FLASH Entertainment and their local Saudi partners, Time Events, both worked with WWE to bring the show to the kingdom.

“This is pretty exciting: getting it from TV to live, that’s just huge. We are making history now,” Ahmed al-Mashhadi, managing director of Time Events, said.

Former world heavyweight champion Dolph Ziggler was expressed enthusiasm at hosting the event in Saudi Arabia.

“Saudi fans should know we are very excited to be here for the first time representing WWE. We are more than excited to give back to our fans all around the world and [at] any chance at any place to come show our awesome and talented roster,” he said.

Welcome back to Creative Control, which is brought to you this week by Vince Russo Meteorology. Only with Vince Russo Meteorology are you promised 65 degree sunny days followed by 15-hours of torrential downpour that is turned into ice and snow that is capped off with 55 degrees, sun, and gale force winds. If it defies all trends in nature, it must be Vince Russo.
Last week, in my review of Wrestlemania and the apparent relaunch of an all new WWE, I talked about one of the few storylines that is continuing past Wrestlemania: Bray Wyatt and John Cena. I discussed how I felt that it was wrong from a storyline perspective to have Cena win at Wrestlemania, especially if the feud was meant to continue. Cena’s victory followed by Wyatt’s continued pursuit of him diminishes the storyline and makes Wyatt seem less like the master manipulator and more like a bitter loser that refuses to accept the outcome. I stand by this assessment after the last two weeks of Raw and Smackdown, especially the last episode of Raw and the emergence of Comedy Cena and his photoshop escapades.
I felt the Wyatt’s actions in the segment were done well. No one in the Family exploded in anger or responded to the pictures until Bray Wyatt spoke up and noted Cena was returning to his jokes, trying to laugh anyone who is a serious challenge to him. This caused Cena to switch into “super serial” mode and issue the challenge for the cage match at Extreme Rules.
Follow me if you will down the rabbit hole of alternate booking and let’s, “Turn Left” at Wrestlemania. We pick up where Cena has the chair, has threatened to use it on Wyatt, only he turns and nails Eric Rowan who is standing on the apron with it. He looks down at Rowan now outside the ring and yells at him, but still holds onto the chair. Cena then turns around and sees Wyatt standing incredibly close to him and flinches. Wyatt indicates for Cena to use the chair on him, and Cena looks ready to do so. At this point, Luke Harper has gotten up onto the apron, Cena uses the chair on him and sends him sprawling as well. This time, Wyatt uses the distraction and hits Cena with Sister Abigail and secures the victory.

John Cena and Bray Wyatt are currently in the midst of an intense rivalry. WWE's established top guy and its enigmatic rising star began their feud before WrestleMania 30, and even though they faced off at the showcase of the immortals the fact is that the rivalry isn't over yet.
The story of their rivalry is still being written. And the question is what has John's immediate impact been on Bray's career in the company thus far?
From the very beginning, this storyline just seemed to fit. On one side there is John Cena: the smiling, brave and fearless protagonist that always strives to do the right thing, always walks in the light and a straight shooter from top to bottom.
